Two days after winning the Hemicuda Rally, Andy Lefevere is already looking forward to his next race: the 6 Hours of Kortrijk. Remarkably, he is leaving the Porsche 997 in the garage for that race.
“We will drive in the Rally of Kortrijk, but indeed I will not drive the Porsche there. Driving the Porsche on that slippery show trial in Mouscron is impossible and I don’t feel like getting the Porsche dirty. ,” laughs the Yprauto business manager.
For the rally of Kortrijk, Andy Lefevere is knocking on J-Motorsport’s door, where he will rent a Skoda Fabia R5. In the past, Andy already drove a Skoda Fabia WRC, but an R5 car is new to him.
“I’m really looking forward to it. It will be some adjusting with a 4×4 again, but that makes it fun. I’ve always loved driving different cars. “
In the Kortrijk Rally, Andy Lefevere finished third in 2014 and second in 2015 with the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X.
