An 8th win in the Hemicuda seems difficult

Next Sunday Andy Lefevere will start with start number 5 in the Hemicuda Rally, the race where he already managed to win for the 7th time last year.

“There’s no chance of that happening this year, is there?” laughs the pilot from Staden.“Should I be able to drive a scratch on the first tests, I’ll have that result framed.

I am especially happy that we can ride again, we are going to have fun Sunday. The Hemicuda is a very nice race, and I like the tests. When I take the Porsche out it usually starts raining, but for Sunday the weather still looks reasonable, which is nice for the supporters!

The Hemicuda Rally will be the last race for the Yprauto business manager. “I’m looking forward to driving Sunday against No. 1 and 2 in the world, but with Ypres I’d rather go watch the WRCs instead of driving myself. We will put the Porsche in the garage Sunday night and see when it can get out next year .”
