A real home race for Andy Lefevere and Yprauto
The Rally of Staden is more than ever a home race for Andy Lefevere. The race passes by Andy’s home and also at Yprauto’s new location. “Too bad we don’t just drive from my home to Oostnieuwkerke, because I’ve had to do that job enough in the last few weeks,” laughs the garage owner.
“The field in Staden is very strong, but I will sell my skin dearly again. An R5 is theoretically unbeatable with our Lancer, but we can make it very difficult for them.
Although it won’t be easy because after Yprauto’s move it has been a particularly busy summer…”
Andy Lefevere’s Lancer EVO X R4 may not be the fastest of the starting field, but the car is an example of reliability. In the last 3 years, Andy has not had to retire once with mechanical problems. The car is fully maintained and prepared for each race by the Yprauto team.
